Rocking her very own version of Dada-Postindustrial-Pop: “Insubordinately Sublime”.
ERA GELDES aka Ana Berkenhoff is a versatile artist working in music and theatre. She has made recent appearances on Radio 3`s Late Junction, BBC introducing, Radiophrenia Glasgow and received a special mention from WISWOS woman in sound. With homemade instruments, electrix repeater, samples, field recordings and voice she creates song-landscapes that take from noise, post-punk, soundart and kraut. Buildinging imaginary connections between art and our inner and real politics.
picadilly records writes: “…sounding a little like an Eccentronic Research Council meets Raymond Scott’s Mahattan Research Inc meets Cluster, this is a collection of poetry, electronics and improvisation woven together like a tapestry and drawing you in like a tense but beautifully shot thriller – a plethora of idents from an all manner of subversive stylings. This is brilliant!”
