presenting her work ‘Pinna Nobilis’
“for what has been and what will be” A tribute to the last woman who makes sea silk.
Berkenhoff is an actress, author, theatre + radio drama director, and musician. She has recently been featured on Radio 3`s Late Junction, Radiophrenia Glasgow, and received a special mention from WISWOS woman in sound. Her experimental song-soundscapes leap in and out from storytelling to drone music, jokes and singing.

Through textured layering of fractured voice and sound, Berkenhoff creates a complex narrative, but one that always seeks to keep the listener in sight.
