It’s happening – Haringey, Islington, Camden, Enfield and Barnet are joining together to bring you a beautiful weekend full of actions, workshops, trainings and local musicians.
On September 7th and 8th, we will occupy the streets of North London and celebrate our community spirit. This event is open to EVERYONE, North London and beyond – inductions will be available troughout the weekend. Join us and prepare for the next Rebellion starting October 7!
Expect a rich variety of workshops and discussion panels, a funeral march, fashion pause, swarming, family activities, arts and crafts, live music and our big highlight: The Green Lanes Parade.

⛵️ Tell the Truth – Turnpike Lane
Join us in reclaiming the streets of North London! Bring a plant to Turnpike Lane station and help us make Green Lanes green again. Print your clothes at the art blocking station. Share your ideas in the demands tent. Visit an induction and get involved. Listen to our “Heading for Extinction” talk and enjoy local musicians and poets. Look out for a hint of pink…
🌳 Act Now – Downhills Park
The heart of our uprising with the main stage. This is your chance to get trained up for the next Rebellion. You can expect powerful bands, panels on climate grief, animal agriculture, fast fashion and diversity, yoga classes, lots of family activities on Sunday, people’s and children’s assemblies, Affinity Group formation training and much more! Our special guests: XR Boycott Fashion and Stand up to Racism. Feel free to bring your tent and stay overnight.
🎷 Rebel for Life – The Green Lanes Parade
A celebration of the London Uprisings that will highlight the strength of our communities. Bring drums, shakers, instruments, flags and lots of rebellious energy! We will march down Green Lanes from Turnpike Lane to Manor House where we will hold a closing ceremony. Sunday 17:00
